Using social media to advertise your business

Analyst firm Frost and Sullivan recently releases its top seven digital marketing predictions for Australia in 2013 and it was no surprise to see social media make the cut.

The firm’s senior research manager, Phil Harpur predicted that social media was far from over, in fact it would continue to gain popularity as an advertising medium.

The report notes that nearly 60 per cent of Australian companies that used online advertising were active on Facebook to some extent last year and this would increase in 2013 and 2014.
